About the Role
You'll be one of the first points of contact for our guests, guiding them through the Duro de Matar experience.
We're looking for people who are friendly, energetic, and who genuinely love service and the exchange that happens between guests and the people serving them. If you enjoy fast-paced service and being part of a young, unique, dynamic team, this could be your place.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests into the Duro de Matar universe and create a strong first impression
- Guide guests through the menu
- Promote guest loyalty
- Keep communication clear between front-of-house and kitchen
- Help make sure orders are delivered quickly
- Resolve guest questions in a calm, professional way
- Help keep service smooth, fast, and positive during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- People who love service
- Fluent English is essential
- Portuguese is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
- Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, food halls, or other fast-paced guest-facing service roles
- Front-of-house hospitality experience is a strong plus
- Most importantly: someone with real pride in giving people a great experience
What We Offer
- Net salary: €****–€**** net depending on experience + up to €250 KPI bonus
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with 2 consecutive days off
- No take-home work
- Location: Time Out Market, Cais do Sodré
