Job Description
As a Lean Industrial Design Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive implementation of global auto lean industrial design principles during program development, industrialization, and launch phases. Your goal will be to achieve the highest quality, cost, delivery, and performance (QCDP) standards in series production.
You will be responsible for driving program and launch KPIs related to operations, including work packages on-time delivery, manufacturing process time, and launch costs. Additionally, you will coach and manage LID deployment with program manufacturing leaders, ME project managers, and plant launch team leaders, ensuring alignment with global TE best standards and global auto industrial strategy.
Furthermore, you will provide training, guidance, and individual coaching during process development and launch phases. The ideal candidate will have/be:
* A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
* At least 7 years of experience, including programs, manufacturing engineering, TEOA, or production;
* Strong leadership skills;
* Analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Decision-making, networking, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work effectively at various levels of the organization and with external partners or vendors;
* Thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management;
* Practical knowledge of APQP functions, continuous improvement, and analytical and action planning tools;
* Understanding of finance basics, including costing and investments;
* Minimum bilingual (English required);
* Results-oriented.

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, including one-piece flow, SMED, batch size optimization, and KANBAN pull system;

* Understanding of finance and accounting principles.
