Engineer | Quality Control, Airworthiness and SafetyWe are an Engineering and Product Development Center that conceives, develops, and productizes new technologies, products, and services towards a more sustainable society.We work by bridging together cities, industry, and universities around large programs of development and industrialization of products and services, from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, and space.This opportunity for an Engineer | Quality Control, Airworthiness and Safety (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.Interpret airworthiness requirements and identify acceptable means of compliance.Track and follow up on all activities required to achieve aircraft certification.Advise internal and external personnel on how to best satisfy the means of compliance.Manage and articulate the certification process with authorities.Establish certification programs in cooperation with each technical department and CVE.Evaluate conformity documents for soundness, level of detail, and coherence with the certification program.Train and guide all organization workers in matters of quality, certification, and airworthiness.Participate in internal and external audits, as well as contribute to processing and resolution of findings.Participate in the management of the Design Organization (DOA).Promote the approval of certification documents via signature.Qualifications:Academic background in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.Over 3 years’ experience in a similar role or involvement in the certification process of equipment/aircraft (CS/CFR 23 and/or CS/CFR 25).Good knowledge of EASA Part-21.Good knowledge of EASA CS/JAR/FAR Part-23/25/27/29, EASA AIR-OPS, EU-OPS, and FAA Part-91/121/135.Good knowledge of Quality standards ISO 9001/EN 9100, as well as ASTM, MIL, and SAE standards.Hands-on experience with Requirements Management software (IBM DOORS, 3DS CAMEO, or similar).Fluent in English (speech and writing) (mandatory).Dynamic and proactive, with good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential.Benefits include:Working in a relaxed and positive environment alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.We facilitate and promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, articulating work with personal life.Health insurance.Partnerships with gyms, among others.Three additional vacation days.Birthday off.
