As an IT Business Solutions Engineer, you will drive automation initiatives, consult on process optimization, and implement technical solutions. You will maintain critical IT tools and support rapid solution deployment.
In your new role you will:
- Team up with the departments within Business Continuity to understand business demand for automation
- Consult on both technical feasibility and process optimization, looking at processes end-to-end as well as workflow optimization
- Perform the technical implementation of applications in close collaboration with the user
- Maintain the operation of tools, including system maintenance, network administration, data management, and services administration
- Leverage your expertise and network to help the team ramp new solutions quickly and jump on IT-supported solutions
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provide informal guidance to junior staff
Your Profile
You are an all-rounder in the field of IT, bringing curiosity and playfulness along with a flexible and open-minded approach. You describe yourself as a full-stack developer and cloud native who lives both worlds' passion to understand business processes and IT feasibility.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent field of studies
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in ideally more than one technical IT department, where you dealt with tasks around software development and administration tasks
- Experience in maintaining and operating systems, networks, and applications in order to provide highly available and customer-oriented systems
- Already worked with HICP/OpenShift and heard of KNIME, dify and dataiku would be an advantage
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Fluency in English
