What will you be doing?
Define functional and technical requirementsbased on business needs, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable specifications for development teams.
Manage the product backlog, defining priorities and maintaining a structured roadmap for scoring and rating model features and improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholdersacross business, risk, and IT teams to ensure model objectives are aligned with internal policies, risk appetite, and compliance standards.
Participate in model validation, ensuring robustness, performance, and interpretability of scoring and rating outputs.
Oversee testing and quality assurance, monitoring model performance and supporting technical teams in identifying improvements.
Define and maintain the delivery roadmap, ensuring timely and incremental releases that deliver measurable business value.
Prepare and present management reportsdetailing project progress, risks, dependencies, and proposed solutions, to be shared with the steering committee.
Promote communication and transparencybetween all involved teams to ensure common understanding of goals and deliverables.
Act as a subject matter expertin credit risk modeling, facilitating collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.
What we are looking for?
Proven experience as aProduct Ownerinrisk management, credit scoring, or data-driven financial projects.
Strong understanding ofcredit risk models (scoring/rating), model lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance (Basel, EBA guidelines, etc.).
Experience inagile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written (B2);
Legal residency in Portugal.
