The company is currently in a phase of consolidation and expansion, making it the ideal time for professionals who want to have a direct impact on the business and contribute to building scalable processes and practices.ABOUT THE ROLE As aSenior Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Accounting Manager (being his right arm), and assisting in the accounting, tax and reporting of 20+ entities, and in the reporting of consolidated financial statements as a basis for financial analysis and management decisions in a dynamic environment, working closely with the Controlling and Corporate Finance teams.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the tax deliveries of some of the entities of the group, nationally and internationally;
Responsible for the month and year end closing activities and financial reporting;
Preparation of financialstatements;
Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations;
Contact with accountantsand auditors from different countries;
Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
Review accounting entries in the accounting system, follow-up costs, and calculate accruals and deferrals;
Involved in different accounting or controlling projects;
Support in audit and duediligence works;
Preparation and updatingof accounting, treasury and reporting procedures.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FORDegree in Accounting, Management or Auditing (mandatory);
Minimum of 5 years experience in auditing or accounting, and reporting (mandatory);
Knowledge of Primavera or other accounting system (plus);
Knowledge in Portuguese tax law;
Consolidation knowledge (plus);
Proactive, focused, adaptability, team worker, responsibility, dynamic, result oriented;
