Lisboa
Too Good To Go
Anunciada dia 1 junho
Descrição

Lisboa, Lisboa, Portugal

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

In this role, you will make a direct, positive contribution to our mission every day. As part of the team in Portugal, the journey promises to be exciting as you will be part of changing the conversation around food waste and establishing the Too Good To Go brand in the minds of customers and food businesses.

We’re looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join the Sales team at Too Good To Go in Lisbon. For this role you need to speak fluently Portuguese (C2 level) and be proficient in English (B2)

Your mission:

* As an Inside Sales Specialist, you are on a mission: contacting provided leads in order to sell them our solution and help them manage their food waste, turning their leftovers into profit and potential new clients. You'll be at the forefront of our expansion efforts across Spain, engaging with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and bakeries who have shown interest in Too Good To Go, showcasing the benefits of joining our platform.
* Through phone calls, emails and messaging, your goal is to set up calls with decision makers from restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, etc in order to pitch them our marketplace and finally convince them to join Too Good To Go and use our app as a final solution to their food waste.
* The stores you sign up and support to make their initial Too Good To Go experience positive, will continue their food-saving journey long into the future, meaning you will build your own personal legacy within the company and our mission.
* This role will be based in our Lisbon office.

Your role in a nutshell:

* You are resilient. You understand that in order to get a yes, you’ll have to get another 30 no’s. You don’t give up and are self-motivated. “One store at a time” is your mentality
* Negotiation and persuasion: you will educate and empower stores that you have reached out to join us at Too Good To Go and fight food waste together.
* You will be an expert in converting and developing partnerships and will optimise new sales processes, sales coaching, data analysis and find synergies with other teams.
* Powerful communication: You will deliver the value of the Too Good To Go and our benefits to potential customers, establishing relationships and building strong rapport
* Effective selling: you will use customer service techniques to identify store needs and curate the best setup for them in cold calls.
* Successfully onboard and train the stores and their employees to set them up for long term success in using our platform
* Follow up with the stores: you will keep the relationship with the store for 4 weeks to make sure they are fully set up to enable them to hit the ground running and maximise their impact.
* This role is office based - you’ll maintain a high volume of calls and communication with stores, achieving monthly sales targets and be present at least 2 days in the office per week.

Requirements:

We are looking for people who are looking to build a career in sales in a supportive and high growth social impact business. This could be your first sales role, or you may have some experience already in a sales or business development role. We’re looking for:

* You have experience working within a sales environment, particularly with phone-based sales over the phone (cold calling)
* You’re a fantastic speaker (and importantly, listener) with the ability to quickly connect and establish a relationship with potential partners - bakeries, restaurants, cafes and more
* You have zero fear of the phone and the tenacity to keep trying when things get tough
* You’re rigorous and organised: you prioritise well and keep track of your pipeline
* You’re data-driven, have experience working with a CRM and have basic knowledge of Excel.
* You’re independent: you know how to schedule your time to help you juggle multiple projects
* You’re a team player and know how to create synergy with other areas of the business to help fight food waste together

We recognise that every individual has a unique background that brings value, so we don’t require the following specific experience, but it would be nice if you have:

* Experience in a sales role, where you have pitched and closed opportunities over the phone
* Experience cold-calling, demonstrating the resilience and motivation to achieve high call volumes, ie: call centers, recruitment environments, etc.
* Experience managing your own pipeline and prioritising data based on insights. Having worked with Salesforce is a plus, but any experience using a CRM tool will be useful.

Our values:

* We Win Together
* We Raise the Bar

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
