Back-end Specialist & Front-end Developer
As a Back-end Specialist and Front-end Developer, you will take full ownership of features end-to-end — from back-end logic to front-end experience. This role requires helping design and build new features, maintain and evolve the platform, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to improving the overall codebase as we scale.
* Develop and maintain back-end features using Django.
* Design and optimize front-end flows using Next.js.
* Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and containerized services (Docker).
* Manage server updates, deployments, and general infrastructure tasks.
* Integrate and maintain third-party services.
* Monitor system health, troubleshoot bugs, and respond to urgent issues when needed.
* Participate in architectural discussions and help shape our scaling roadmap.
* Contribute to release pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
Nice to Have: Experience with reverse proxies (Nginx), Gunicorn, basic DevOps knowledge, familiarity with multilingual setups, understanding of file/video processing and privacy requirements, UX/UI intuition when building front-end components.
Minimum Requirements: Solid experience with Django, comfortable working with React / Next.js, able to work in Dockerized environments, confident debugging issues across the full stack, strong communication skills and ability to work independently, willing to take ownership and thrive in a small, fast-moving team.
