We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications and OSS to join a high-impact international project. The role will focus on the design, build, and operation of cloud-native data platforms, working with large data volumes and modern architectures.
The project operates within a robust and distributed ecosystem, including:
* Hands-on work with technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, and object storage layers.
* Building resilient batch and streaming pipelines.
* Orchestration using Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
* Advanced use of SQL.
* Development in Python or Scala for large-scale data processing and optimization.
* Implementation of monitoring systems, alerts, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
* Ingestion, modeling, and operation of data from OSS platforms in large-scale telecom environments.
* Access control models, PII management, encryption, auditing, and designs aligned with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
* At least 2 years of proven experience with Telecom OSS.
* Experience in large-scale telecommunications projects.
* Very good level of English (100% international environment).
* Availability to work in a freelance model (6 months project that could be entended).
