We are seeking an IT lawyer with 5–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience to manage a broad range of technology contracts, including software licenses, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), hardware supply, technology licensing, development agreements, support and maintenance, and consultancy services.
You will act as the primary legal contact for Airport and Airline Operations and Border Control affairs, providing legal support such as drafting, negotiation, and risk analysis.
This is a global role and involves managing contractual documentation with global customers and collaborating closely with managers in the supported business unit. Responsibilities include end-to-end contract management—from initial engagement and tender review to negotiation, escalation, and post-signature support.
Main Responsibilities
1. Contract Negotiation and Legal Support
* Prepare documentation, negotiate, and manage agreements for supported business units; participate in negotiations virtually or in person as needed.
* Review public tenders and bids, prepare bid responses, and escalate legal recommendations to senior management.
* Provide guidance on legal risks related to strategic deals; prepare executive summaries and risk assessments for management.
* Offer knowledge-sharing sessions on contract obligations and cross-legal matters.
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures across pre-sales, sales, implementation, and post-signature processes.
2. Post-Contract Support
* Interpret signed customer contracts and advise on obligations.
* Manage claims by assessing merits and supporting resolution.
* Oversee contract management, including amendments, supplements, and change orders.
* Maintain accurate documentation in legal databases.
3. Contract Templates and Internal Procedures
* Keep contract templates and guidelines current with legal developments and company policies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to adapt templates and provide input for global standards.
* Share best practices and support rollout of tools and procedures for risk management.
About the Ideal Candidate
* University degree in Law; Master's degree preferred.
* 5–7 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department with focus on contract management.
* Familiarity with IT products and services; experience in public procurement preferred.
* Strong team collaboration and effective communication skills with the ability to align with stakeholders.
* Proficiency in English.
