Key Roles and Responsibilities for a Central Material Planner / Traffic Scheduler
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily execution of the procurement process related to serial materials supply in their portfolio. They will respect the production schedule, minimum stock levels of customer plants, and Service Levels Agreements (SLA) and agreed Operational Cost.
This role requires following up on the execution of plans, raising and managing alerts when needed, understanding and managing risks to minimize impact on production schedules, ensuring that platforms and plants get the necessary materials and resources to meet production schedules and service delivery goals, and managing and optimizing transport flows.
* Inbound and outbound transports, including road, sea, and air, as well as standard, Full Truck Load (FTL), Less than Truck Load (LTL), and Shared Flows.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of the transport organization through participation in working groups focused on problem-solving and/or process improvements.
The selected candidate will have experience in transport operations or material planning and possess knowledge of SAP, especially MM, PP, and TM modules. A bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management is required. Proficiency in at least two languages, including English, is expected. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate strong communication skills, customer orientation, team spirit, resilience, autonomy, and openness to new ideas.
