Job Description
We are seeking a Java Developer & API Manager to help various business areas develop APIs accessible by external customers and provide them with the main blocks, documentation, and training needed to deploy APIs.
The team will operate in Agile mode (sprints), with a high degree of collaboration around the Team Lead.
Requirements
* API Knowledge: Understanding of APIs, API Composition, BFF, and API Gateway.
* Design Skills: Ability to design Java Services and Components in a MicroServices Ecosystem.
* API Documentation: Familiarity with Swagger, OpenAPI, JSON, and YAML formats.
* Best Practices Writing: Capability to write Best Practices suited to an organization.
* Java Technology: Proficiency in Java V8-V11 technologies.
* SpringBoot: Expertise in Spring and SpringBoot Ecosystem, including Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, and Jenkins usage V2+.
* Security: Knowledge of Spring Security or other modules for handling security on application level.
* Authentication & Authorisation: Understanding of differences in API authentication and authorisation.
* Splunk: Familiarity with Splunk V8+.
* API Monitoring: Awareness of API Monitoring concepts.
* Docker: Knowledge of Docker.
* Architecture: Capability to help other teams architect and design reusable APIs.
* Performances: Ability to improve API performances.
* API Publishing: Familiarity with API Catalog Tools like SwaggerHub and Spotify Backstage.
* Problem Solving: Capability to resolve problems and find best solutions.
* Conflict Resolution: Ability to avoid conflicts and find peaceful resolutions.
* Creativity: Think out of the box.
* Organization: Manage time efficiently with autonomy.
* Empathy: Work with colleagues who may be replaced.
* Decision-making: Required minimum autonomy.
* Teamwork: Collaboration within the 3 FTE team or outside during trainings.
* Leadership: Required once other Java developers are onboarded.
* Language: Fluency in English; Knowledge of French is a plus.
