What you will do
We are seeking a Mid-Level SFCC Backend Developer to strengthen our backend commerce platform. You will work on integrating core business logic, developing secure transactions, and optimizing backend processes for performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
7. Develop and maintain SFCC controllers, models, and business logic
8. Implement checkout workflows and payment integrations
9. Create and maintain SOAP/REST web services
10. Customize OCAPI hooks for API extensions
11. Manage catalog, order, and customer logic
12. Debug backend issues and optimize performance
13. Collaborate with frontend developers on data contracts
What you will bring
Technical Skills Required:
14. SFCC Script API (dw/* modules) proficiency
15. Cartridge development, controllers, and path management
16. Transactions and data persistence
17. BasketMgr, OrderMgr, PaymentMgr, CustomerMgr, ProductMgr, CategoryMgr
18. Hooks and middleware patterns
19. OCAPI customization and integrations
20. Debugging/logging in Business Manager
21. Configure site preferences, payment/shipping/tax methods, jobs, and services
Experience Level:
22. 2–4 years backend development experience
23. 2+ years SFCC-specific experience
24. Understanding of e-commerce workflows
Domain Knowledge:
25. Order lifecycle, pricing, and inventory
26. Payment processing and PCI compliance basics
27. Customer data management and privacy standards
