About the Role
As an Insurance Risk Manager, you will oversee and service a portfolio of commercial insurance contracts. This includes managing renewal business from assigned brokers, producing and underwriting new accounts, and conducting pricing and coverage analysis to tailor policies to specific client needs.
Key responsibilities include interacting with management, brokers, and clients, making decisions on new business opportunities and renewals, participating in training and communication with brokers, and contributing to departmental growth objectives.
The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing a diverse book of property business from multiple sources, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently to meet deadlines while following company guidelines, and demonstrate strong analysis, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry education and experience are required, as well as proficiency in systems and PC applications, particularly spreadsheets.
