Merlin-Edged has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager on their Lisbon Development.
In this position, you will work directly with the Regional Project Director and be responsible for Data Center construction Project Management activities.
We are looking for someone who has experience in Project Management in Construction Projects of critical infrastructures. The Project Manager needs to be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing construction environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the construction of the sites being built by Edged Spain.
2. Supervising contractors and suppliers' performance on field.
3. Anticipate risks and potential impacts on H&S, environment, quality, cost and/or programme.
4. Problem solving.
5. Reviewing the Designs for the sites and commenting as appropriate.
6. Assisting in the discussions with the Utility Companies.
7. Preparing the Tenders for tendering to consultants and contractors as required.
8. Preparing reports for the Edged line management for the various sites under your control.
9. Preparing cost plans and programmes for ongoing projects on the sites.
10. Working closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure that new customers can be accommodated within the Data Centres.
11. Being the on-site go-to person for any building or upgrade work on the site.
Skills & Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree required.
2. Experience in working in the Data Center construction industry or similar area.
3. Proven track record managing complex projects.
4. Mechanical and electrical education preferred.
5. Portuguese Speaking Required.
6. English Speaking Required.
7. Spanish Speaking Preferred.
8. Work well as a Team player.
9. Loyalty.
10. Self-motivated to achieve the best results.
11. Good time management, placing workload to ensure success.
12. Ability to question and listen to those around you to ensure understanding.
13. Understanding of Environmental issues.
14. A good working knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
