Your New Role
As a Web Behaviour Analyst, you will be a key contributor to optimising the digital experience across the organisation’s platforms. You will be responsible for analysing user interactions, implementing and maintaining tagging strategies, and providing actionable insights to guide product decisions. Working closely with product owners, UX specialists, and data teams, you will ensure that the digital journey is continuously enhanced through a data-led understanding of user behaviours. Your work will support the delivery of an intuitive, engaging, and high-performing web experience for a global audience.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of tagging strategies across the web platform, in collaboration with module-specific Product Owners.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect the quality of the user experience, working closely with the UX team.
Partner with data analysts to translate raw data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualisations that support decision-making.
Design and execute strategies to analyse customer navigation patterns, identifying drop-off points and areas for improvement.
Provide expert insights to product teams to inform roadmap priorities based on behavioural trends and user needs.
Ensure tracking accuracy and data integrity across all user interaction points.
Utilise tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (or alternatives like Matomo) to conduct regular audits and validate the performance of analytics frameworks.
Collaborate in the deployment of A/B testing and multivariate testing to improve UX and content strategies.
Promote data-driven thinking across teams by presenting findings in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous optimisation of digital platforms for a globally distributed user base.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business structures and translate them into technical insights.
Demonstrated ability to propose and defend recommendations with clarity and confidence.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders across all levels.
Fluency in English is essential.
Proficiency in using tag management systems (e.g., GTM) and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.).
Solid understanding of digital user experience (UX) principles and customer journey mapping.
Familiarity with statistical methods and data interpretation techniques.
Experience or knowledge of digital marketing, user-centred design, and ergonomic best practices.
Awareness of user research methodologies and their practical application.
A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
