The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through to installation, testing, and commissioning. They will oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver the package on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the Electrical Systems package from design coordination to installation, testing, and commissioningOversee site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and close-out of the safety file as part of the management teamPromote and maintain a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) culture within your teamCollaborate with the Project Manager, consulting engineers, and the client to manage the project schedule and ensure timely deliveryManage all costs associated with the electrical package, including:Winthrop Engineering & Contracting Electrical Team, Subcontractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and equipment. Variations and valuationsOversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed closelySupervise subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levelsMaintain and manage the Winthrop Engineering & Contracting "In Progress" snagging system, ensuring supervisors submit weekly punch lists and distributing all snags to relevant subcontractorsIssue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for central trackingAttend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetingsIssue weekly cost reports, including all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levelsIssue internal weekly progress reports summarising supervisors' updates, highlighting percentage complete based on WBS codes, risks under Winthrop's control (e.g., late deliveries), and any concernsIssue external weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, detailing unavailable areas, delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and percentage completeSchedule material deliveries to align with the project programme and track all deliveriesMaintain a weekly project photographic diaryPerform all other duties as required to successfully deliver the electrical packageRequirementsRelevant bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related disciplineProven experience in Project Management, preferably within large-scale projects, ideally data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrialStrong track record of coordinating and managing complex electrical and mechanical systems projectsExperience handling industrial relations mattersSolid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practicesExperience in design and build projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant mechanical software and excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systemsStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive team performanceBenefitsOpportunity to work on Europe's largest and most advanced data centre projectsCareer growth and professional development in a fast-expanding sectorCompetitive salary packageSupportive, dynamic, and collaborative team cultureWinthrop Technologies Ltd are an equal opportunities employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
