SAP FI/CO Consultant (Freelance)
We are looking for an SAP FI/CO freelancer to join a one-year 12-month contract based in Portugal. The position requires a minimum of 12 months commitment with an immediate start, working 2 days per week in Lisbon or Porto.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP FICO.
Integrate SAP FICO with SD, MM, and other modules.
Identify process improvements using new SAP functions.
Analyze recurring issues, define root causes, and propose solutions.
Prepare technical specifications for ABAP development.
Skills & Experience
Experience with SAP FI implementation lifecycle (analysis, configuration, testing, training, support).
ABAP/debugging knowledge (advantageous).
Experience with IDocs, LSMW, and authorisation roles.
Application maintenance experience is a plus.
S/4HANA knowledge preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with SAP Finance solutions.
In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
