We are recruiting an IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer for a solid and business-critical technology project.
Our client is a Portuguese online gaming brand, where system reliability, infrastructure stability, and security are essential to daily operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in a regulated and demanding environment.
Your challenge
You will be part of the IT team, playing a key role in the implementation, management, and evolution of IT systems and infrastructure that support business operations.
On a daily basis, you will:
* Administer Windows Server and Linux Server environments
* Manage Windows and macOS desktop environments
* Administer network infrastructure and network assets
* Manage cloud environments (AWS and GCP) – nice to have
* Manage and maintain containerized environments (Docker / Portainer) – nice to have
* Perform regular system security checks
* Execute technical audits, in collaboration with external auditors
* Identify, track, and resolve technical incidents
* Document technical configurations, procedures, and IT policies
* Register and control system changes and updates
* Prepare technical incident reports in Portuguese and English
Requirements
The profile we are looking for
* Proven experience in Windows and Linux Systems Administration
* Solid knowledge of networking and IT security
* Experience managing AWS and GCP environments (nice to have)
* Experience with Docker and Portainer (nice to have)
* Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills
* Experience in critical and/or regulated environments (nice to have)
* Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles
* Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
* Autonomous, detail-oriented profile with strong technical communication skills
