Role Summary
TheEngineering Manager - Aerospacewill be responsible forindustrialization, process optimization, and technical supportofBuild to Printmachined aerospace parts.
The role focuses onengineering leadership, manufacturing processes, quality, compliance, and customer interaction, playing a key role in the success of long-term aerospace programs.
Reporting line:Head of Aerospace Business Development
Key Responsibilities
Lead theindustrialization and manufacturing processof new aerospace parts in close collaboration with Project Sales Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, including process mapping, tooling, special processes, and assembly in line with customer requirements.
Develop and maintain acomprehensive technical librarycovering company materials, special processes, customer standards, industry norms, and manufacturing and assembly methods.
Review design specifications, special product requirements, and customer configurations; developtechnical manuals and Quality Plansaligned with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements, internally and jointly with Customer Engineering.
Drive engineering activities related tolong-term contracts and qualification processes.
Leadrisk management and failure mode risk analysiswithin manufacturing processes.
Supportroot-cause analysis and corrective actionsfor quality issues (8D, FMEA, etc.).
Stay up to date withaerospace technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
5+ years of experience inmetalworking, aerospace manufacturing, or precision components industries.
Strong knowledge ofaerospace materialsand their mechanical properties (aluminum alloys, titanium, steel, composites).
Understanding ofspecial processes(surface treatments, heat treatment, NDT, coatings), preferably with hands-on experience.
Familiarity withaerostructure components, GD&T, and engineering drawings / 3D models.
Strong background inmanufacturing engineering, DFM/DFA, and process optimization.
Experience withCAD/CAM software and PLM systems(CATIA, Siemens NX, Mastercam, etc.).
Ability to interpret and applyOEM / airframer specifications(Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, etc.).
Ability to translatecomplex technical informationinto clear and structured guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience leadingengineering processes and industrialization activities.
Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages (French, Spanish) are a strong asset when working with international OEMs.
