This position is for Stadler Digital Labs, a joint venture between Stadler Rail and Critical Software serving as the digital competence center for the Stadler Group.

Which brings us to you, the person with:
At least 3 years of experience using Java, Quarkus, Kafka, and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of microservices architectures
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message streaming using Kafka
Experience with highly scalable and performant backend services built on Quarkus
Experience in working autonomously within an agile environment with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery
Capacity to deliver high quality, reusable and testable software components for highly scalable backend services using Java and Quarkus
Ability to support the Product Owner with architectural insights and technical knowledge
Expertise to be part of the team planning and improvement using agile methodologies
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
