Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge solutions for Autonomous Networks, directly influencing the future of telecommunications. Your work will encompass all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions for Autonomous Networks.
2. Engage in requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation following Agile methodologies.
3. Utilize your programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python to build robust software components.
4. Test and validate solutions using automation tools and frameworks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
5. Participate in the deployment of applications utilizing CI/CD practices for smooth transitions to production environments.
6. Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends in telecommunications, specifically in the 5G Core and Radio domains.
8. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
3. Practical experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
4. A solid understanding of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, etc.
It would be nice if you also had:
1. Experience in BPMN workflows development (e.g. Camunda).
2. Familiarity with Cloud native containers/framework (Docker/Kubernetes).
3. Knowledge of Databases (MariaDB, Apache Cassandra).
4. Experience with Test automation tools (e.g. Robot framework, Cucumber).
