Job Role Overview
This role involves managing financial data, statutory statements and board reporting packs ensuring timely delivery while distilling complex data into actionable insights.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of accountants to deliver accurate management accounts and board packs.
* Oversee preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination with external auditors.
* Manage bank reporting and compliance filings.
* Prepare weekly Flash P&L and KPI reports for senior leadership.
* Manage budgeting and forecasting across divisions.
* Provide variance analysis and business insights.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5–7 years' post-qualified experience in financial reporting or senior accounting roles.
* Strong technical expertise in financial reporting standards and regulatory obligations.
* Leadership and people management skills with ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent analytical and commercial awareness with ability to distil financial data into actionable insights.
Performance Indicators:
* On-time delivery of management accounts and board packs.
* 100% compliance with statutory filing deadlines.
* Accuracy of weekly Flash P&L and KPI reporting.
