We are looking for an experienced architecture professional who wants to take the next step toward Enterprise Architecture and actively shape complex IT landscapes with a strong business focus.
Your Role
* Shape and evolve the enterprise-wide architecture in close alignment with leadership, architects, and engineering teams
* Maintain and continuously improve the current and target-state architecture landscape, including standards, principles, and processes within an EAM setup
* Identify improvement opportunities by assessing business and technology innovations, inefficiencies, risks, costs, and compliance gaps
* Design future-state architectures and define clear execution plans, roadmaps, and decision proposals with concrete solution options
* Work closely with architecture peers across domains such as applications and infrastructure to ensure consistency and alignment
* Contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives, supporting change enablement, system integration, and process alignment
* Ensure architectural decisions are always driven by measurable business value
* Apply a pragmatic and lightweight Enterprise Architecture approach, focusing on outcomes rather than unnecessary complexity
* Facilitate and govern architecture decision-making processes in a transparent and structured way
* Partner with solution architects across Cloud, Microservices, and DevOps environments, providing guidance, running workshops, and ensuring high-quality documentation and standards adherence
* Grow into a full Enterprise Architect role within a collaborative architecture community, connecting hands-on solution design with enterprise governance and value creation
What You Bring
* Solid experience as a Senior Solution Architect, ideally working with Microservices, AWS, and Kubernetes, and strong expertise in application and integration design
* Exposure to or hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture Management, ideally using recognized frameworks such as TOGAF
* A clear ambition to move into Enterprise Architecture while maintaining a strong connection to practical solution delivery
* Familiarity with architecture repositories or EAM tools such as LeanIX or Confluence is an advantage
* Strong skills in visualizing architectures using C4 models, preferably with tools like /
* Knowledge of cloud governance, API strategies, event-driven systems, data architectures (including data mesh and governance), and messaging platforms such as Kafka, SQS, ArtemisMQ, or JMS
* Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, including facilitating architecture sessions, mentoring architects, and improving documentation and quality standards
* A business-driven mindset where architectural choices are always evaluated based on their impact and value
* Excellent communication skills: confident, proactive, comfortable engaging stakeholders, building networks, and presenting complex topics clearly
* Language proficiency: fluent English (C1 level) is required; German is a plus
