The SSC Manager Finance will be in charge of a team of accountants who provide full accounting services to multiple legal entities (sub ledgers, general ledgers as well as financial and tax statements based on IFRS and local GAAP).Client Details Our client is a well-established multinational company within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.DescriptionTo be responsible for keeping the books for various legal entities in several countries according to IFRS and local GAAP.To produce a full suite of reconciled financial performance statements, accompanied by supporting schedules and analyses, for each operating legal entity within the scope of the team in accordance with the timetables set by each reporting entity.To participate in senior management meetings, delivering results and supporting commentary, in a media suitable to the meeting environment.To ensure that all up-to-date accounting standards are adopted and applied to financial statements, including seeking training where appropriate to ensure skills remain current.To regularly review statement outputs to ensure that suitability is matched to the needs of the recipient, discussing needs and offering solutions where appropriate, * To provide ad-hoc financial reporting support where appropriate.The Success Of The Role Shall Be Measured ByAccuracy in reporting outputs (aim to maximize) - Ensure that all reporting is produced within agreed timescales and displays a high level of accuracy.Effective Finance Department Operation (aim to maximize) - Ensuring that reports are well managed, understand and complete their roles within expected standards.Progress of Optimization Projects - Maintain a positive work position with all ongoing projects to completion and delivery, including training and support.Business Enhancement (aim to maximize) - Evidence the delivery of improvements or enhancements, targeted at the achievement of business strategic objectives.ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting or General Business, or Associates degree.7+ years of experience in Accounting.5+ years of experience using in-depth accounting knowledge with IFRS reporting experience in a global business setting.2+ years of Leadership experience as a team lead or manager in the area of SSC or BPO.Successfully supported and driven several Accounting migration projects in the area of SSC or BPO.Advanced level of English.To lead by example, demonstrating the core business values at all times.To manage the team members of the Finance functions, offering support and training where needed, in the delivery of all departmental objectives.To provide regular performance feedback, including the completion of annual appraisals.To understand and work towards the resolution of any issues or conflict within the business, whether task related or other.To perceive talent management as a key aspect of the role and to foster diversity in all areas at all times.Job Offer A great opportunity for professional growth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
