Loan Trading Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Loan Trading Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for facilitating loan transactions in both primary and secondary markets.
* Work closely with sales, trading, clients, legal counsel, and operations teams to settle primary, secondary, and distressed loan trades.
* Create trades in ClearPar and confirm their details.
* Coordinate with counterparts and administrative agents to review and execute all trade documents necessary for closing in a timely manner.
Main Activities:
1. Monitor trader positions and manage a high volume of loan closings, updating the status for each trade, and performing reconciliations.
2. Evaluate and interpret credit agreements and amendments to ensure understanding of terms and conditions.
3. Prioritize and address potential delays in trade settlement while maintaining efficient workflow processes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
* Up to 2 years of experience in banking and financial operations.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and ability to automate workflows.
