Job Overview
The Sales Leadership Associate plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across various segments, including groups and social events, wellness, sports, leisure sales, consortia, and travel management companies (TMCs). Reporting directly to the Complex Director of Sales, this leader oversees a team of on-property sales associates and leverages above-property channels to achieve property revenues.
Mission Statement:
* Support the development and deployment of effective segment strategies aligned with resort goals.
* Promote proactive and reactive sales activities across all relevant markets, focusing on luxury travel, high-net-worth individuals, groups & social events, wellness, sports, leisure sales, consortia, and TMCs.
* Collaborate with the Marriott Global Sales Organization (GSO) to generate new business through sales missions, roadshows, and hosted events.
* Identify and activate seasonal campaigns and on-brand promotions to stimulate demand.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage an individual sales portfolio and meet personal revenue and conversion targets.
* Contribute to strategic pricing, rate loading, and promotions in partnership with Revenue Management.
* Recommend booking goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and track performance.
* Analyze market data and trends to suggest new opportunities and account prioritization.
* Develop accurate monthly forecasts and focus on exceeding budgeted targets.
