We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Executive to join our IT team in the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the hotel's technology infrastructure, supporting IT-related operations, and ensuring smooth and efficient IT processes. Job Description:
* System Support & Maintenance:
Assist with the management, configuration, and troubleshooting of all hotel IT systems and applications, including the property management system (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, reservation systems, and others.
* Network Administration:
Support the setup and maintenance of the hotel's network infrastructure, including local area networks (LAN), wireless networks (Wi-Fi), and internet services for guests and staff.
* Hardware & Software Support:
Provide technical support for hardware devices (computers, printers, servers, mobile phones, etc.) and ensure software is up-to-date and functioning correctly. Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* User Support & Training:
Deliver technical support to hotel staff on IT-related issues, providing guidance on the use of systems, software, and devices. Conduct training sessions when necessary.
* Data Backup & Security:
Assist with regular data backups and ensure that the hotel's data is stored securely. Support IT security practices to protect the integrity of the hotel's network and sensitive information.
* Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of IT systems, assets, and support tickets. Assist in generating regular reports on IT activities, performance, and incidents.
Requirements:
* Basic understanding of networking, hardware, and software systems;
* Familiarity with hospitality-specific software such as PMS, POS, or booking systems is a plus;
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/365 and basic troubleshooting skills;
* Abilityto work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
* Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail;
* Abilityto prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
* Proactive attitude and eager to learn;
* Customer-focused with an ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment;

Additional Skills (Desirable):
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices;
* Familiarity with hotel management solution (PMS, POS, CRM);
* Basic understanding of cloud computing and server management.
Education/Professional Experience:
* Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
* 1-3 years previous experience in the function.
Language Skills:
* Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
