Lead Data Scientist Role
This is a hands-on position with significant technical ownership as a Lead Data Scientist at an early stage AI company.
You will design and develop systems that identify key signals, build retrieval and embedding architectures that feed models, create ranking and scoring frameworks to prioritize actions, and establish evaluation layers to measure LLMs' behavior across queries, surfaces, and contexts.
Your responsibilities will encompass ranking signals, vector and semantic representations, entity understanding, graph-based relationships, model serving, observability, cost and latency optimization, and connections between unstructured signals and automated recommendations.
