With a commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cuisine complemented by an extensive selection of wines from around the globe. As a Sommelier at Vila Joya Sea, you will be an integral part of our service team, working closely with our service team to curate memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Important
Applicants must already hold legal authorization to work in Portugal, as visa sponsorship is not possible for this position.
Our ideal candidate must possess:
• Fluent in at least 2 out of 3 languages: Portuguese, German, and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Passion for wine and food pairing, with a desire to continuously expand your knowledge and expertise in the field.
• Completion of relevant education or certification programs, such as sommelier training or wine studies, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and build rapport.
• Detail-oriented approach to wine service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences to every guest.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Adaptable and capable of integrating into a diverse team.
Working days will be Wednesday to Sunday (lunch and dinner) for a full time contract.
