IT Manager H/F/X

Summary of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
* Oversee and manage the hotel’s technology systems, ensuring standards are met
* Ensure continuous operation of hotel systems, including networks, applications, interfaces, and servers
* Enforce IT security policies concerning hardware, software, and data confidentiality
* Ensure proper backup of all critical data
* Troubleshoot issues with hotel systems such as Book4Time, Oracle Opera Cloud, Silverware, Microsoft Active Directory, and internet services
* Prepare and manage the annual IT budget with a focus on long-term sustainability
* Provide IT support for employees and guests
* Liaise with vendors for equipment updates and installations
* Manage IT tenders and investments
* Train staff on IT systems and software
* Advise leadership on technology projects to enhance guest experience
* Supervise an apprentice and manage IT on-call support
* Ensure software licensing compliance
* Ensure team members are well-trained on equipment and devices
* Balance operational and administrative IT needs
* Stay updated with latest technology trends
* Follow departmental policies, health & safety, and security standards
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years in a similar IT management role
* At least 5 years of relevant IT experience
* Fluency in Portuguese and English
* University degree or IT certifications preferred
* Knowledge of hotel applications (e.g., Opera, POS systems, networks) is an advantage
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Responsible, reliable, autonomous, with attention to detail
* Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks
* Guest-focused, calm, and courteous
* Ability to multitask and collaborate across departments
* Service-oriented and responsive
