Your new RoleAs a Junior Officer - Fund Accounting, you will support the full fund accounting cycle by ensuring accurate financial records, preparing key reports and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to reliable NAV calculations and smooth financial operations.Your responsabilities will include:- Preparation of Financial Statements with Disclosures and other ad-hoc service requests from clients;
- Bookkeeping, including timely and accurate recording of transactions of private equity and other investment type structures;
- Calculation of net asset value of funds on a quarterly/semi-annual and annual basis in line with the required accounting standards;
- Assist in the preparation/review of financial statements for audit purposes;
- Communicate and liaise with external parties such as Investment Managers, auditors, banks or regulatory bodies;
- Understanding complexfund structures and accounting treatment of the related transactions;
- Performs self-review of core processes to demonstrate self-awareness of the funds reporting cycle from interpreting governing documentation to finalisation of financial statements;
- Assist with onboarding of new entities in the accounting platform;
- Calculation of tax/VAT reporting;
- Preparation of required reporting (client, BCL, CSSF);
- Ensure adequate and timely responses to clients' requests.What you will need to be sucessful- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business or Mathematics;
- Solid understanding of accounting standards such as IFRS, LUXGAAP and/or USGAAP;
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly strong knowledge of Excel;
- Fluent English, both written and spoken;
- Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills for liaising with the Fund Accounting team and other internal Departments and Third Parties;
- Solid knowledge and understanding of accounting principles;
- Strong analytical andproblem solving skills;
- Be proactive in both your learning process and in your daily tasks;
