VilaFoia is dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality, creating unforgettable experiences for individual travelers and group organizers alike.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retreat Center and B&B Operations Manager, based in Monchique, Algarve. The Operations Manager has one missision. To manage the entire operations and report on regular basis to the owners. He / she will oversee the day-to-day operations of the boutique retreat center, including guest relations, property management, staff coordination, event execution, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. The role includes managing bookings, supervising housekeeping, coordinating with retreat organizers, monitoring supplies, and maintaining the property's facilities to ensure a welcoming and seamless experience for guests.Qualifications Proficient in hospitality management, customer service, and guest relations. Experience with retreat center is considered a plus! Strong organizational and operational skills, including expertise in events coordination Proficiency in staff supervision, team collaboration, and scheduling, hiring, dismissal, motivation and all other related tasks around team management Knowledge of property management, maintenance oversight, and inventory management Fluency in English and Portuguese; proficiency in additional languages, is a plus Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure Experience in hospitality, tourism, or event management is highly preferred Familiarity with the local culture and region of Monchique or the Algarve is advantageous Manage VilaFoia Social media to attract new clients be responsible for the B2B, B2C email inbox other administrative tasks such as account details management, bank payments, cash deposits, and other tasks in town Answer emergency calls from clients via Ring or Phone lead the maintenance efforts with internal employee as well as with suppliers coordinating the time of maintenance tasks Very good command of computer skills inclusive the entire microsoft package (Word, Excel, powerpoint, etc.) Candidade must have a driving license Candidade must be authorized and have a valid work permit in PortugalInterested?
