Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain impactful business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge advanced data processing capabilities with user-friendly, self-service BI tools, enabling business users to derive actionable insights through intuitive dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (Desktop and Service).
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Design and implement robust data models following best practices to ensure scalability and performance.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and optimize data transformation processes.
- Manage and support data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and/or Azure DevOps.
- Work with Azure Analysis Services (AAS) / SSAS Tabular models to deliver semantic data layers.
- Write and optimize DAX calculations and SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and reporting.
- Automate processes and administrative tasks using PowerShell where applicable.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across BI solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and performance tuning for existing reports.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service).
- Hands‐on experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS) or SSAS Tabular models.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Azure Data Factory for data pipeline management.
- Solid knowledge of DAX and SQL/Data Warehouse concepts (SQL DW).
- Experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Databricks architecture and ecosystem.
- Experience working in cloud‐based data environments (Azure ecosystem).
