Optimize Assets' Value
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and improve the value of assets in Portugal and Europe by working with the asset management team.
* Review monthly reports and forecasts against targets, define annual budgets, and review CAPEX plans and FFE purchase requests.
* Develop reports with recommendations to assist decision making, increase assets' value.
* Assist in developing new properties through several stages including valuation and feasibility until pre-opening budget.
* Conduct market studies and research, including benchmarking.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge of finance and accounting, profit and loss statements, cash flow, and overall accounting principles.
* Knowledge of USALI is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
* Overall and high-level knowledge of hospitality management, operations, and departments (Front office, F&B, Marketing).
* Knowledge of revenue management is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of hotel analytics.
* Interest in collecting and analyzing data to prepare reports, studies, and business cases for decision-making and action plans.
* Overall knowledge of hotel development, feasibilities, and valuations.
* Knowledge and experience with hotel management agreements and pre-opening plans are a plus.
* Preference for candidates with previous experience in finance, asset management, consultancy, or hotel & revenue management.
* Experience in market research and studies, including benchmarking of different asset classes.
* Analyzing and proposing best use for hospitality assets or portions thereof.
