We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to analyze historical data, develop machine learning models, define behavioral metrics, compute transaction averages and limits, explain algorithm logic and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python or Java/Scala programming languages along with proficiency in Bash scripting.
* The successful candidate must have experience working closely with various technologies including Big Data frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop. Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques is also necessary for this role.
* A strong background in Machine Learning including model training, testing, overfitting prevention is required. Proficiency in tree-based algorithms (Random Forests) would be beneficial too.
