Financial Manager for Construction Projects

As a Financial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in cost management will be essential in estimating costs, benchmarking against industry standards, and collaborating with project teams to deliver projects successfully.

Imagine being responsible for managing financial aspects of major construction projects, including estimating costs, assessing risks, and supporting change management processes. You will work closely with project teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be valuable assets in ensuring accurate cost management and timely project delivery.
How You'll Make an Impact
1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and pre-tender estimates to determine project viability and potential risks.
3. Collaborate with the Digital Acceleration team to implement digital tools for cost management and reporting.
4. Prepare and present regular status reports on project budgets, committed spend, and forecasts, keeping cost data up to date.
5. Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to innovation in cost management processes.
What You Bring
1. 3–5 years' experience in cost management for construction projects, ideally in international and multicultural environments.
2. Strong knowledge of feasibility estimating, pre-tender estimating, cost planning & reporting, tender management, value engineering, benchmarking, and claims management.
3. Proven ability to implement and maintain high-quality cost management processes.
4. Experience supporting budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation for large-scale projects.
5. Advanced skills in using digital cost management tools and reporting systems.
6. Master's degree or equivalent in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, MRICS member.
