We are seeking a Data Security and Cryptography Expert to join our cybersecurity and IT risk management teams. The professional will be responsible for defining strategies, assessing risks, and supporting the implementation of advanced solutions in data protection and cryptography, ensuring the security and resilience of critical information systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Define security requirements and strategy for data security and cryptography.
* Support subsidiaries and teams in implementing data protection and cryptography measures.
* Analyze and evaluate security risks, assess potential impacts, and propose mitigation measures.
* Contribute to proofs of concept (POCs) on innovative data security and cryptography solutions (e.g., homomorphic encryption, blockchain).
* Define guidelines for the secure use of blockchain technologies.
* Perform risk analysis and propose countermeasures.
* Develop and maintain security requirements and policies for cryptography and data security.
* Propose approaches to inventory and manage cryptographic assets across the organization, ensuring crypto agility.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including non-IT such as Legal) and explain complex security topics in a clear, business-oriented manner.
* Carry out technological watch and contribute to the growth of the internal cybersecurity community.
Main Tasks
* Assess the robustness of designs, data protection mechanisms, and cryptographic key management.
* Participate in cryptography and data security expert groups.
* Orient projects toward the best security techniques (cryptography, anonymization, masking).
* Produce POCs on emerging data security technologies.
* Deliver presentations and training to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills
* Proven expertise in IT Risk and Cybersecurity.
* Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks (ISO 27001/27005, EBIOS RM, or similar).
* Solid background in cryptography, data protection, and cybersecurity technologies.
* Experience in analyzing and designing secure architectures.
