Purpose As Buyer for IT, you are responsible for procuring technology solutions and services across categories such as Software, Hardware, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Digital Solutions. This role involves managing sourcing activities, negotiating contracts and license agreements, and ensuring cost‐effective, secure, and timely delivery of IT solutions that support business continuity, innovation, and growth. Responsibilities In coordination with the business, Procurement strategy, and the Indirect Procurement Category Managers, identify the need to organize and execute "Source to Contract" activities. Based on supplier market research and analysis of suppliers' expenditures, frame relevant sourcing recommendations and select the services that fit the business requirements. Source, negotiate, and run the Indirect Procurement tendering process that meets budget, schedule, quality, technical and ESG requirements. Ensure Indirect Procurement activities comply with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes. Run and/or participate in suppliers' evaluation. Ensure Contract database is timely updated, contracts are managed and administrated, in coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors. Maintain a strong interface with administrative departments and ensure Purchase Orders are issued to suppliers on time. Lead the tendering process by: Understanding the commercial/contractual requirements. Timely qualifying suppliers. Issuing requests for information, proposals, and quotations. Analyzing offers and identifying areas for improvement and clarification. Developing recommendations for bidder selection. Documenting the tendering process, following compliant practices. Ensuring that the tactical management of the procurement process is conducted appropriately. Ensuring proper communication and engagement with internal stakeholders. Contractual and Commercial Negotiations: Lead negotiations with vendors using package strategy. Perform financial/commercial analysis to identify risks and opportunities. Manage claims and improvement plans with suppliers. Conduct internal contract checkpoints to minimize risks and leverage new opportunities. Contribute to Global Supply Chain Effectiveness: Support implementation of category management at either local or global level. Execute contract and supplier management with special focus on strategic sourcing. Identify and elevate issues with strategic suppliers. Support Indirect Procurement Category Managers in supplier rating. Provide and develop knowledge insights of the market, supplier innovation, trends, risk and opportunities. Run procurement analytics and update them regularly: expenditures, supplier panel, saving tracking, KPI tracking. Become a partner of internal stakeholders, ensuring good relationship and communication. Education Bachelor's degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (indirect purchasing), preferably in a listed company operating globally. Preferably, the candidate has worked in a company where procurement processes are organised on an end‐to‐end basis. Past exposure to ERP implementation is a plus. Fluency in English.
