Mental Health Professional Position
We are seeking a qualified and experienced mental health professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and experience in administering psychological assessments, as well as strong report-writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on CBT.
* Clinical Care Pathways: Develop specialised clinical care pathways in line with the evidence base and best practice.
* Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
* Risk Management: Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure the safety of clients in crises, and provide crisis interventions
* SOP Development: Develop and implement SOPs for risk management and clinical procedures, and train providers on these processes.
* Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records by professional and legal standards.
Requirements:
* A Master's degree in Psychology is required.
* A mandatory professional internship of approximately 1,500–1,600 hours is required after graduation.
* Registration is through the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses upon successful completion of the internship.
* Expertise in individual and group facilitation
* Proficient in planning and executing online seminars with the use of various web platforms and adept at creating engaging content.
* Proficient in effectively navigating and managing crises.
* Experience in administering psychological assessments (for clinical psychologists)
* Strong knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments with a focus on CBT as a core treatment modality.
* Must be able to conduct virtual and in-person sessions at Intellect's office location or our partnered client's location.
* Good to have: Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals.
