Job Description
Team presentation and main goal:
As part of the Finance Division, you will join the Statutory and Consolidated Accounting department, where you'll be part of a bi-localized team of seven members based in Porto.
Your primary responsibilities will include reporting and reconciling banking transactions, necessitating regular interaction with various Finance Departments, including Financial Permanent Control (LoD2), Norms, and Financial Data Integrity. Additionally, you will engage with branches and entities within the BPCE Group to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
As a Reporting Officer, your main responsibilities will include:
* Conducting intragroup reconciliations with Natixis subsidiaries and the BPCE group, ensuring compliance with both IFRS and French accounting standards.
* Preparing and presenting financial reports while ensuring full adherence to French and IFRS regulations.
* Performing financial reporting using SAP for Natixis Paris and Natixis London.
* Overseeing the management of netting derivatives by processing preparatory statements for clearing transactions, including control, analysis, and reporting.
* Executing controls and accurately recording equity securities in reports while processing necessary bookings.
* Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated balance sheet and profit and loss statement for Natixis SA using the Copernic (SAP) system.
* Identifying data patterns and anomalies to evaluate financial risk and improve data quality.
* Participating in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of intragroup reporting and data quality, in collaboration with teams in both Paris and Porto.
* Collaborating closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and maintain the accuracy of financial information.
Building a strong network within the various teams of the Natixis ecosystem, along with a demonstrated aptitude for collaborative teamwork, are essential factors for success in this role.
This position may require occasional travel to Paris for training sessions and presential meetings.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent with knowledge of banking accounting;
* Professional experience in the banking sector;
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Power BI and Easymorph is a plus.
* Fluency in English and French is a plus.
