PURCHASING MANAGER.
Role Description:
The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities and supplier management. Key responsibilities include the definition and implementation of purchasing strategies, negotiation contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to meet operational needs. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to align procurement strategies with company goals.
Job Description:
- Manage the purchasing team, ensuring alignment and communication with company administration
- Manage purchasing needs together with Operations department
- Manage contract negotiation and agreements with multiple suppliers, mainly regarding metal suppliers and price fixations management
- Analyse, monitor, and report on purchasing process performance
- Implement improvements in purchasing processes to create more efficiency
- Actively research and identify new suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Work together with technical teams to ensure quality standards across suppliers, service providers, raw materials, and other materials
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Manage and control Capex processes
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Management, Economics, or related field
- Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
- Excellent IT skills, particularly advanced Excel and SAP
- Proven professional experience of 3 to 5 years in a multinational and industrial environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Proactive, dynamic, and a strong team player
- Good ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
- Preference for experience with exchange-traded raw materials (metals)
