What do you need to become a SMART Senior Technical Writer (OutSystems Platform)?
Proven experience creating technical content for developer or infrastructure audiences; Strong ability to understand complex systems hands-on, not just through documentation or SME input; Excellent communication skills and a user-first mindset to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively; Experience with documentation tools and workflows: Markdown, GitHub, and docs-as-code environments like VS Code; Familiarity with software development fundamentals — web services, databases, and cloud architecture; Comfortable working in Agile environments and using collaboration tools like Jira; Curiosity, autonomy, and the drive to learn new technologies quickly.
What will you do as a SMART Senior Technical Writer?
Create high-impact technical content such as how-to guides, conceptual docs, tutorials, and API references; Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify complex topics and deliver clear, actionable documentation; Identify and fill knowledge gaps to enhance the overall developer enablement experience; Continuously learn as the product evolves, ensuring content stays accurate and relevant; Contribute to documentation strategy and help shape the developer experience at scale.
