Job Description:
* Standardize and optimize production processes in the extrusion of plastic profiles, aiming to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality through the application of continuous improvement tools.
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams to introduce new projects, ensuring compliance with project management system requirements.
Responsibilities and Activities:
* Machine programming and equipment setup for extrusion and auxiliary operations.
* Analyze the capacity of extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment (e.g. extruders, chillers, cutters).
* Manage material loads and consumptions in SAP or other ERP systems.
* Develop quotes and costs for new components (e.g. plastic profiles).
* Create and update routings and bill of materials (BOM).
* Conduct material consumption analysis (resins, pigments, accessories).
* Monitor and support production inventory in coordination with planning.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in an industrial environment for plastic profile extrusion.
* Knowledge of operating and maintaining extruders, chillers, cutters, and measurement equipment.
* Understanding of different polymer types and their properties.
* Ability to analyze processes and resolve problems.
* Interpretation skills for technical drawings.
* Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
* Intermediate-level English proficiency.
* Customer-focused and results-driven individual.
* Team player with collaborative mindset and proactive approach.
