Project Automation Engineer - Pharma

Main Responsibilities
Integrate PLC-controlled equipment and standalone systems into plant IT/OT architecture.
Ensure reliable data exchange between shop-floor equipment and systems such as MES, historians, and enterprise platforms.
Support CSV documentation and validation activities in accordance with pharmaceutical regulations.
Collaborate with automation, IT, QA, and production teams to implement compliant automation solutions.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to validate system functionality and integration;
Coordinate vendors, integrators, and internal stakeholders during system deployment and upgrades.
Troubleshoot automation and connectivity issues across the manufacturing environment.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers or technicians when required.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in industrial networking, cybersecurity, and automation systems.
Our requirements:
Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions at the point of installation
Build and maintain trust based relationships with client teams to support a safe project environment
Immediate Availability
Delivery focus, energetic and good interpersonal skills
Minimum of 5 years in automation experience (preferred)
Fluent in Portuguese and English at professional level - key requirement
Availability for 100% travel and on site presence - no remote work available
Leadership and team coordination skills - having supported or led small project teams, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
Capable of managing technical tasks, coordinating stakeholders, and driving projects from design through implementation and validation.
