Detalhe da Oferta:CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR A RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPRefa Agenda VIIAFOOD- Decorgel 65+_BI-2A call for tenders is now open for the attribution of one Research Scholarship within the scope of the Project "Integrated Project Agenda VIIAFOOD - Platform for Valorization, Industrialization, and Commercial Innovation for the Agri-food sector", specifically in the Sustainable Food Program, named "Decorgel 65+", within the framework of the Call for Proposals No. 12.O RE-C05-i03 on sustainable food.
" financed by the Recovery and Resilience Programme (PRR), under the following conditions, set out below.Scientific area: Psychology, Neurosciences.Admission requirements:General requirements:Candidates for the Research grant must hold a Master in Psychology, Neurosciences or related areas.Specific requirements:Candidates must also have knowledge/research experience in the following areas:- Familiarity with research techniques and methodologies in the field of Neuroscience;
- Professional experience in Clinical Psychology with older adults, preferably in contexts involving psychological assessment, intervention, or ongoing support;
- Specialized training in Neuropsychology;
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (such as SPSS, R, or Python);
- Knowledge about sustainable pratices in the food sector;
- Proficiency in English(written and spoken);
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment;
- Proactivity in identifying research opportunities and applying innovative methods to investigate consumer behavior in the food sector;
- Flexibility to participate in research-related events and scientific dissemination;
- Ability to collaboratewith peers to share knowledge and achieve common goals;
- Capacity to handle challenges, changes, and pressures in a positive and constructive manner;
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence, and ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively, ensuring productivity and adherence to deadlinesPreferred Factors:Will be considered preferred factors:- Specialized training in Neuroscience;
- Training in Neurophysiology and Research Methodologies.Candidates for the Research scholarship must also be enrolled or commit to enrolling in a course that does not lead to an academic degree that promotes the consolidation of their scientific training .
Work Plan:To achieve the project objectives within the scope of research grants, the following activities will be carried out:- Identification of potential networks, associations and partner institutions for recruiting senior participants (aged over 65) for clinical studies.
- Planning, scheduling, and conducting research sessions, including preparing scripts, carrying out experimental tasks and analysing data.
- Application of technical or scientific methods and procedures.
- Evaluation of participants' receptiveness to new food products.
- Preparation and management of all necessary ethical documentation, including compliance with ethical and administrative standards associated with the study.
- Active integration into HNL routines through collaboration with the team on regular research activities.

Patrícia Oliveira-Silva.Duration of the scholarship:The scholarship, which is expected to begin on January 1, ****, will have the duration of 6 months on an exclusive basis.Monthly maintenance allowance amount:The amount of the scholarship corresponds to *****,64€.

i) curriculum evaluation (60%);
ii) previous experience(40%).
If necessary, the 3 best positioned candidates may be interviewed, and in this situation, the weighting will be curricular evaluation (40%).

Only candidates with a final classification equal to or greater than 80 points, on a scale of 0 to 100, will be selected for this position.Applications that do not meet the admission requirements, delivered on time and incomplete applications will be considered ineligible.Composition of the Selection Jury: President of the Jury: Prof. Patrícia Oliveira-Silva, Effective Members: Prof. Diana Mesquita and Prof. Patrícia Batista.
Substitute Jury: Prof. Raquel Matos.Form of advertising/notification of results: The jury deliberates in accordance with the selection criteria adopted and disclosed.
The jury meetings minutes will contain a summary of the meeting content.
After completing the application of the selection criteria, the jury proceeds with the elaboration of the ordered list, with the ranking of the approved candidates.
The ranking list of eligible candidates will be published on the premises of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto, located at Rua de Diogo Botelho, ****, ******** Porto - Portugal, with each candidate being notified of his/her position on the list ranking of candidates via email.
Ineligible applicants will be notified by email, with details of the missing eligibility elements.Complaint and appeal procedures: Candidates have a period of ten working days, after the disclosure referred to in the previous number, to give their opinion at a prior hearing.Deadline for acceptance of the scholarship: Within ten working days following notification of the grant award, the selected candidate must confirm in writing his/her availability to start the scholarship on the proposed date.
