We are looking for an Amazing: Senior Java Developer
Seniority: Senior (5+ years)
Type of position: Hybrid from Oporto. Candidates must be in Portugal already!
The amazing you, will have:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
* Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
* Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
* Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
* Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Fluency in English
* CPLP nationality or EU work permit required
* Based in Porto

* Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
* Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
* Fluency in French – valued.
