Our client is seeking an experienced Release Manager to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic, international working environment and work on important projects with top clients.
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless, high-quality software releases through effective planning, risk management, collaboration, and communication. Your objectives will include:
* Creating and managing release calendars and schedules.
* Aligning releases with project roadmaps and business goals.
* Identifying risks in release processes and developing mitigation strategies.
* Planning rollback procedures for failed releases.
* Collaborating with development, testing, operations, and business teams.
* Reporting release progress and status to stakeholders.
* Managing change requests and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Serving as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Making informed decisions on release readiness and timing.
* Balancing speed of delivery with quality assurance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with proven experience in Azure Cloud tech stack and skills including Azure App Services, functions, and ARM templates, as well as proficiency in pipelines, boards, and release management. Familiarity with D365 applications and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) deployment processes is also essential. Excellent communication skills are required to lead topics across multiple stakeholders and oversee various aspects of software delivery.
