The Team You Will Join
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the activation, recruitment, training, and development of a group of brokers both large and small within the Porto Area.
The Key Account Manager position is crucial to the prosperity and profitability of MetLife in Portugal, contributing to increased coverage of MetLife products that help build a more confident future for our customers and business partners.

The Opportunity
The Key Account Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing new business and leading the growth of broker portfolios. This role is key to MetLife’s growth, as the Channel is one of the main contributors to the company’s success.
Success in this role requires positive energy, focus, persistence, and a methodology that fosters enthusiasm for brokers' success with MetLife. It also involves working in a face-to-face environment.
The Key Account Manager will train and develop the brokerage distribution and collaborate internally with key stakeholders to ensure success, in an environment where every contribution is respected and every perspective is heard.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead portfolio growth of brokers
* Create an inclusive, success-driven culture
* Oversee and manage KPIs
* Develop strategic thinking, resilience, and multi-tasking capacity
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher
* Driving license
* Good knowledge of Microsoft tools
* Fluent in Portuguese and English
* Located in a suitable area to service clients in Porto
Additional Skills
* Experience in sales
* Collaborative, team-oriented, result- and people-focused
* Enjoys working in changing and challenging environments
* Prefers working close to brokers, including large brokers
