Responsibilities
Create and orchestrate the user research strategy and translate those insights directly into actionable design solutions.
Conduct generative research, and rapidly prototype and iterate based on those findings.
Facilitate ideation sessions, usability sessions, and design critiques.
Educate designers and product team members on conducting research and adhering to design best practices.
Champion analytic tools within our products, analyze, and report while ensuring design decisions are informed.
Work with the wider UX Research and UX Design teams.
Design within a simple, centered design process, generating fidelity designs ready for engineering handoff.
Have design skills to transform ideas into creative, simple, and responsive designs under technology and time constraints.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, Design or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of combined professional experience in an applied setting, with a proven track record of significant contributions in UX Design and UX Research.
3+ years of on experience in UX Research, including generative, end research, and usability studies, utilizing various methods.
3+ years of on experience in UX/UI Design, including creating wireframes, fidelity prototyping, information architecture, and interaction and visual design within an established design system.
Proficiency in Interaction Design and Visual Design and a deep understanding of scaling products using a Design System.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
Experience conducting research and executing design for complex products, and working effectively with executive leadership.
Experience managing end design and research projects in a large, matrixed organization.
Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research and design methods, including when and how to apply them efficiently during the product development process.
Experience in a variety of product spaces, applied research and/or academic settings.
Proven ability to communicate and translate both user research findings and design rationale with functional partners to drive impact.
What Will Help You Excel?
Experience working in healthcare, or other equally complicated domain.
Expert proficiency using Figma (or similar prototyping/design tools), Jira, and other enterprise product management tools.
Comfortable working in a paced environment with many deadlines.
